(don't mind the food all over her face!) Kate was so tired that she was rubbing her eyes. But then started to make a game of peek-a-boo out of it!


Kate has turned into quite the chatterbox lately. Especially if her sesame street friends are involved!

Kate has so much fun when we go to the park. She loves to go down the slide and swing on the swings. She has moved past picking up the wood chips and eating them to picking them up and throwing them. (much better!) The weather has been so beautiful! We will be spending lots of time at the playground!

Leslee's b-day party

Last weekend was my niece's 16th birthday party. Kate had a great time! (sorry Leslee I didn't get any pictures of the birthday girl!!)

I wanna go fast!!

My brother Justin's lifelong dream is coming true! This is HIS racecar that he built and will be driving starting in just a few weeks. I'm so proud of him and can't wait to go watch him. (although I'm sure I'll be a nervous wreck!)

MICHIGAN vacation!!

We just got back from a super fun trip to Michigan to visit Justin, Erica & Brooklyn Jones!! It was so much fun to hang out with them again like old times. Kate loved it too! Probably more than Brooklyn since Kate was always picking on her! She loved to try to pick her up, hit her on the head (affectionately, I'm sure), and give her hugs. They had lots of fun together. By the end, Brooklyn even stopped crying when Kate came near her!! Just kidding, that only happened once! By the end, they were definitely BFF's! They would get so excited when the other came into the room! We went to baby time at the library, made some birthday invitations, played games, went sled riding, and lots more. Kate isn't used to getting out and doing much so she really loved all the new things. I took lots of pictures!

We got Kate this new baby before we left. She really likes it. She gives it kisses all the time!



We went sled riding one night. Kate had a blast!! The ground was pretty much completely frozen so their sleds came flying down the hill! Kate would yell as she came down the hill just like someone on a roller coaster.

We love living close enough to our families now that we can go home for the day to visit them. Kate loves it, too! She loves all the attention. Here she is with some of her favorite people!! TIME OUT!!

So I don't know about you, but we feel it's never too young to start disciplining your children. Just Kidding! Kate knocked over the garbage can (again) so Dustin put her in her high chair and put it in the corner. He then told her to sit there and think about what she did wrong. Don't worry, she only had to sit there long enough for me to get out the camera and take a picture. What a silly Daddy!

Dustin took Kate out to play in the snow the other day while I was at work. Look how much fun they had! She was crawling all around the yard! And eating the snow!




Kate is trying really hard to lift my makeup case...notice the strained look on her face. She loves to pick up everything and anything (my purse, a pillow, her little chair, an old pizza box...) and carry it around the house.


Kate fell while we were shopping at American Eagle and got a boo boo. I tried to brush it off as to not baby her in the store only to find out she was actually bleeding. Don't worry, it has already healed up nicely.

Kate is happy to rock her Led Zeppelin shirt while Dustin was watching her since I was at work. She really loves her Daddy! They have a great time together. (If you look closely you can see Kate's bottom teeth coming in!)
