Blowing Kisses

Dustin took Kate out to play in the snow the other day while I was at work. Look how much fun they had! She was crawling all around the yard! And eating the snow!

Kate is trying really hard to lift my makeup case...notice the strained look on her face. She loves to pick up everything and anything (my purse, a pillow, her little chair, an old pizza box...) and carry it around the house.

Kate fell while we were shopping at American Eagle and got a boo boo. I tried to brush it off as to not baby her in the store only to find out she was actually bleeding. Don't worry, it has already healed up nicely.

Kate is happy to rock her Led Zeppelin shirt while Dustin was watching her since I was at work. She really loves her Daddy! They have a great time together. (If you look closely you can see Kate's bottom teeth coming in!)

Valentine's day

I just couldn't help it...

Kate absolutely hates laying down lately. She just won't do it. Not for a diaper change, to rinse the soap out of her hair, or to get dressed after her bath. So, I gave up today and let her be free. I just couldn't help but to take this naked picture!!

Playing in the snow

We took Kate outside to play in the snow the other day. She loved it! Well, at first she just sat there very still but then she started crawling around. I think she mainly loved getting out of the house...we are going crazy in there all day!

Tagged again

I've been tagged again! And since the first time I was tagged I came up with 7 uninteresting things about myself...how about 7 uninteresting more? Enjoy!
1. I love Oreos!
I eat them very often. Since I am lactose intolerant and they don't have any dairy in them...all the more reason to eat them! There have even been times where I've eaten them a lot and managed to lose a pound or two along the way. I call that my Oreo Diet!
2. I don't like the beach. The sand gets everywhere and I have no desire to go into the ocean.
3. I have a sweatshirt that actually belonged to Christina Aguilera. She went to my elementary school and her grandma was a member of the church. My in-laws were helping her grandma clean her house and she gave it to them. Of course they thought of me right away!

4. I miss great friends. I've made a lot of really great friends in my life. I've always had a best friend in my life. It seems as though life just keeps moving, taking you to new places with new experiences and new friends. But I never forget my best friends I've made along the way.
5. I took dance lessons for 11 years. (That's where I attribute getting my big legs from!...) I took ballet, tap, jazz and acrobats. I had toe shoes and competed in lots of competitions. I was also on the dance team in college.
6. I hate blow-drying my hair but do it every day.
7. I love reading magazines!

Calling all Utahns...

So I was cleaning out my wallet today and I found 2 very exciting things: punch cards for Cafe Rio and Costa Vida!! I know that all of us that have moved from Utah seriously miss those 2 restaurants! Just finding them made my mouth water for a shredded chicken burrito with rice and black beans smothered in mild sauce! Or a salad with crispy tortillas and their Ranch dressing...mmmm... Anyway...I didn't want to throw them away since I thought someone might really want them. The Cafe Rio card has 8 punches and Costa Vida has 5! You could be well on your way to a free meal! I will send them to the first person to respond to this!! Please let me know if you want them before I throw them away.

Nothing important...

Not too much has been going on lately...so here are just a few random pics.

Say cheese!

hanging out with Daddy

Kate really wants Daddy's guitar

In response to my friend's post on her blog...the cost of silence...Kate took out each kleenex one by one then tore them apart. But it kept her busy and content for a while so, of course, I let her do it!
