Today I went out to lunch with a friend. We were getting ready to leave when Jack started screaming. Now, Jack doesn't cry, almost ever, so I was alarmed right away. Plus he was SCREAMING. He was just sitting in his car seat ready to go so I didn't know what the heck could be wrong. I saw his binky was backwards in his mouth. I thought maybe he was just mad that he didn't get it put back in the right way.


Well, I tried to take it out and it WOULDN'T COME OUT. It was STUCK in his mouth. I couldn't pull it out, plus I didn't want to just keep pulling. I tried wiggling it. He was screaming SO hard. His face was bright red. It was soooo sad. I didn't know what to do though, because it just wouldn't come out. I finally figured out that it was stuck under his tongue and up at the top of his mouth. His tongue was in the hole and it was lodged in there. And I got it out. It was so sad, though. I took him out and held him so tight but he cried and cried for a while. My poor little baby!! He's fine though. I don't know what the heck happened. But I definitely don't like that the design of the binky would allow something like that to happen. Looks like it's time to go new binky shopping!

Trip to Michigan

We just got back from a SUPER FUN vacation to Michigan. We love you Justin and Erica!! Thanks for letting us come and visit you! We went to a Dow Gardens, the children's museum, the library, mall play place, Sams, and McDonalds. We went on a bike ride, played Wii fit and lots more!! Our kids had lots of fun together too. It was so nice for Kate to have someone to play with where she would play without me for a little while!! The kids did great on the 6 hour car ride. (Our new DVD players may have helped!!)
