Kate loves to laugh!

4 months old

Kate is about to turn 4 months old on the 26th! She is getting so big! She loves to play and laugh. I can't get her to stop rolling over now. Every time I put her on her back she ends up on her stomach. She loves to do push-ups on her stomach, too. I love being a stay-at-home mom. I never thought I could love someone as much as I love our little Katiebug! I love watching her grow and change. She has quite the personality. Feisty like her Momma! And so cute and adorable, too. (also like her Momma!)

Justin's Wedding in CA

Jen's brother, Justin, got married this weekend to our new sister-in-law, Melissa. We had such a good time at the wedding. Kate was very good. She even slept during the really loud salsa band! She got to meet so many new people. She's turning into quite the traveler. She didn't really cry all day. When she got mad, she would just scream at us to let us know she was still there. She loves to giggle when her Daddy laughs with her. It's so cute! And while we didn't think it would happen, you'll notice in the pictures that Kate is going bald! We had a really fun weekend in CA and hated to come back to Utah. Enjoy the pics!

California

Kate took her first trip to California this weekend. She had a great time. First, she met some of Dustin's family in San Bernardino. Here she is with his cousin Eric and his wife Sarah, their daughter Emily, Allison, and Andrea.

Kate went on her first train ride with Daddy, Eric and Emily.

She had so much fun that it tired her out and she fell asleep sitting up.

Kate rolled over!

Kate rolled over for the first time on Monday, the 13th! She was trying so hard, too!! She kept kicking her leg and pulling at the blanket. I was watching her and thought it looked like she might do it this time so I started video taping her. So I caught it on video!! On Saturday she rolled over from her stomach to her back, too. Good job Baby Kate!!

Kate loves to laugh and play! She loved seeing her Daddy after being away from him for 2 weeks. He heard her laugh for the first time on Monday. She is such a happy girl! Here are some pics of her laughing and playing. In the last one, she is flying! She is getting ready to roll over. She gets so close but can't get her arm out of the way! We love our cute little Katie Bug!

Kate loves hanging out with her Pap! She gets a great big smile on her face every time he walks in the door from work. She sure is going to miss him!

PA visitors

1st babysitter

Kate had her first babysitter today. My long-time friend Ashley and her sister, Taylor, watched Kate while my dad and I went to a movie. She did a great job! Here she is holding Kate while I give very specific directions about her bath! And her giving Kate her bath before bed. Kate really looks like she loved Ashley and Taylor watching her!
